We stumbled upon this place by accident while doing some shopping in the area, but once we saw it, we knew that we had to check it out.

As we walked in, we kept saying to each other, "look at this one", or "how about that one", until eventually each if us had picked out a sweet treat to try, and we absolutely everything that we had.

The staff was amazing and made us feel like we were the most important people that they had seen all day.

Delicious bakery! My family loves Sugar Rush. We go in and order through Door Dash sometimes. It is a fun atmosphere and the staff is always really pleasant and patient when we take 100 years picking things out.

We just moved to Ohio and I needed a birthday cake for my daughter. This place was absolutely amazing! They made exactly what we wanted and it was the most delicious cake I have ever had. I’m a home baker and would normally make their cakes myself. I can honestly say I will not be doing that anymore. This cake was delicious and the buttercream was absolutely perfect! Their prices are great for what you get, and I will be using them again!

The best cake in Columbus!

A couple years ago our granddaughter went to a children's cake baking "camp" there. She absolutely LOVED it. And we got to enjoy her unique creation...and it was delicious!! Awesome!

We ordered a birthday cake for my sons 1st birthday! The customer service was exceptional! My sons theme was time flies and I sent them reference photos and discussed the cake over the phone. I had exactly what I wanted in my mind and they came through with exactly what I was thinking! The entire experience was perfect and I was over the moon with this cake. The taste was amazing. My son loved every bit of his smash cake and I will continue to use them for the future.

Order cupcakes and custom cake pops for a baby shower a bit ago. Gave a reference image and whoever made them made it look identical to the image. The taste was amazing and everyone loved them at the party.
I picked them up the DAY BEFORE and was told to keep the cupcakes and cake pops cool until they were ready to be served and even after a 2.5 hour car drive and then a night in the fridge they were perfect for the next day!
I was absolutely obsessed with them and so was everyone else at the party 🥰🥰

The literal BEST. We ordered our wedding cake through them. We had a two-tier wedding cake and 3 mini cakes. One of the mini cakes was a suprise birthday cake for my husband! It was a last minute addition and it was a Marvel/comic book cake. They did a happy birthday banner on the cake and added pictures of my husband's favorite heroes. Frank was SO easy to work with and was super nice!! Everything was made clear to me on what we were getting. I gave them my color scheme and let them go at it! The cake decorator KILLED IT. Our cakes looked amazing and tasted even better!! We had salted caramel, lemon blueberry, confetti, red velvet, and white. We were getting compliments all night about the cake!!! AND they even delivered which took off some stress! 10/10 would order from them again!

I just came there for the breakfast today. And wow! I got some croissant, a classic cinnamon roll and the apple cinnamon roll! Absolutely loved everything. The cinnamon rolls were delicious but too sweet for my own taste. My husband who is a sweets lover absolutely adored and devoured it all! The croissant were my favorite! Sweet but not overly sweet. Can’t wait to return for more breakfast and normal everyday options! 10/10!!!!!

Sugar Rush did adorable cake pops and absolutely stunning custom cookies for my bridal shower. The cake pops were full of flavor and so moist. They were honestly the best cake pops I’ve ever had. We ordered vanilla, chocolate, and red velvet (which was a fan favorite).

As for the custom cookies—Not only did they look incredible, they tasted incredible! Usually the fancy cookies with royal icing leave a lot to be desired as far as taste goes but these were delicious—it’s been a few months since my shower and I still get comments on how delicious and beautiful the treats were! Today was the first time I have personally purchased from Sugar Rush, but have had their cakes from a friend. I had a large order that reserved online (super easy process by the way) for cinnamon rolls. I did not realize how huge these things were going to be! (Totally my bad, but they will get eaten!) I had a fairly large order with a bunch of cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, and cookies. I had my baby in the carseat and was somehow going to carry it all to the car, totally thinking multiple trips. The gentleman working there, that had taken care of me from start to finish, carried my stuff to my car. He was sooo amazing and sweet! I could not have had a better experience with them! Every single thing that I got was absolutely amazing!!!

I ordered a memorial cake for my daughters birthday. This was her 1st birthday in Heaven. They recommended a rainbow cake and they added 2 purple butterflies. Heathers favorite color was purple. Found Sugar Rush quite by accident when we decided to do a little shopping after lunch today. Our eyes got wide at the size of the treats they had available. Everything we bought tasted absolutely wonderful. The owner spent a little time chatting with us as it wasn't busy and answered our questions about the business. (Lovely fellow.) We will definitely come by the next time we're in the Columbus area.

My only complaint is that they're not on my side of town so I can't visit regularly but I'm sure my diabetes appreciates that

We always get our cakes and cupcakes at Sugar Rush. The service is spot on and the cupcakes are delicious. We also get Mondter shakes as an occasional treat. I love trying the seasonal flavors but usually get the peanut butter. You can’t go wrong at Sugar Rush!

I first heard about sugar rush from the Columbus foodie/facebooks Columbus foodies page and when I seen the cupcakes and seen that the Columbus foodie card got me a discount there I knew I had to try it! Me and my kids went later in the day but they still had a decent amount of options available. My kids picked the dirt style cupcakes each, I grabbed a Jason samosa, and a pineapple upside down one and then also grabbed a blueberry one and a strawberry cheesecake which is what the employee suggested and I ended up giving to my mom, she loved it! The place was clean, the worker was helpful. Will be back again!

I stopped in for the first time for my 50th birthday to buy myself a cake out of the case. I had been following Sugar Rush for awhile but was never able to come in due to living out of town. Anyway, I made it in and saw some amazing treats! It took some time to decide, but I chose a Buckeye cake to take home and enjoy with my family. The staff behind the counter was so helpful and polite while I took that time. That cake was A-MAZ-ING!! We will definitely be back when we’re in the area to try the other treats you have. So yummy! 10/10 recommend

Sugar Rush has the most amazing cupcake flavors and the most variety available of anywhere I know of in the Columbus area. I am very particular about cake; it has to be moist and it has to have real frosting—none of that whipped stuff. Anytime someone in my friend group has a birthday and wants cake, this is where we get it from. We order a dozen variety, and that way everyone can pick what flavor they want and everyone ends up happy. Plus, they have my favorite cake flavor: cotton candy. It's impossible to find that cake flavor anywhere else!

We have been visiting Sugar Rush since it first opened, and have had amazing experiences each and every visit discovering all the delicious treats they have to offer.
Most recently, we ordered a custom cake for our daughter’s first birthday and the process was great from start to finish! We were contacted a couple days after submitting the custom request online to go over all the details with one of the owners, who was great to talk to, walked us through the process, and really took the time to understand what we were looking for. Day of pickup, they took the time to go over everything we needed to know to transport the cake safely and how long it needed to sit before cutting; they even walked it out to our car to make sure it would be safe and stable for the drive to the party. The cake was perfect, we had tons of compliments and people asking where we got such a great cake! (Also I was SUPER impressed that NONE of the blue icing from the smash cupcake stained! MOM APPROVED!) It tasted just as great as it looked, and we will definitely be coming back to Sugar Rush for our next custom cake! (But we will be sure to visit for some sweet treats in the meantime!)
